A new website for Christopher Charles Lofts
A loft conversion and extension business in Crawley: the website it had, and the one it has now.
The business
Chris from Christopher Charles Lofts does loft conversions, home extensions and garage conversions: turning unused roof space into a bedroom, office or bathroom, building extra space onto the house, and making a cold, unused garage into a warm, usable room.
He works across Crawley, Horley, Horsham, Copthorne and the rest of West Sussex.
What the business had
He already had a website at christophercharleslofts.co.uk and he was paying £300 a year for it.
Chris told me it hadn’t brought in an enquiry in a long time, and I could see why. The first screen was words on white with no photos and most of the photos further down were stretches of sky and bare ceilings.
What the business has now
His TradeEasy website is at the same address now:

He didn’t have to rebuild his audience around a new address. TradeEasy supports adding your own address for a smooth transition.
It has a page for each of his services, jobs, the business and how to get in touch, with a form that sends enquiries to him.
The jobs page allows him to show off his amazing work with his own photos. Always displayed correctly.

What changed
Chris was paying for a website that didn’t work well, and he had little to no control over anything on it.
I helped Chris transfer his website to TradeEasy. Now he pays a small monthly price and he decides what happens on his website. He can make any change himself, such as uploading pictures of a recently finished job and having it written up, designed to be as easy as possible to use.
Or he can request me to help him with a change, all from TradeEasy and without needing to talk to me.
