Websites for tilers
A tiled wall is judged in a glance. Level lines, cuts tucked away where nobody looks, grout the same width all the way across, and your website should let people see that.

Lines and grout, shot square on
Stand back and take the whole wall straight on, then step in for a corner or the cuts round a window. Those two shots tell a homeowner more than any description.
Pop the job into your editor with a word or two, a metro tile splashback or a stone floor in a hallway. We turn your note into a short write-up and put your photos beside it.
The bathroom everybody plans round
A new bathroom is usually the big one, planned with a plumber and sometimes a builder. The person choosing a tiler wants to know you’ll fit in with the others and leave it watertight.
If you do the whole room, keep wet rooms ticked and add waterproofing. If you only tile, put the rest under work you’d rather turn down, and nobody rings about it.
The list you start from
The builder ticks a tiler’s usual work first, bathrooms, splashbacks, floors, wet rooms, natural stone and grout renewal. Mosaics, large format, outdoor tiling and repairs are there to add.
Keep what you do, cross out what you don’t, and write in anything missing. Jobs you’d sooner not be rung about never show.
Your jobs, ticked for you
Step three of the builder starts tilers with these. Keep them, untick them, or add your own.

The tiler we made up
To show the shape of one, we made up Bramald Tiling, in Beeston, and built its website with our own builder. Its past jobs:
- Bathroom walls tiled, Chilwell
- Splashback between the units, Bramcote
- Hall floor tiled, Beeston
- Wet room floor, Attenborough
- Shower grout redone, Stapleford
Questions
- Can people send me a photo of the room?
- Yes. The enquiry form on your website comes straight to your email, so somebody can describe the room and you can reply asking for pictures.
- What does it look like on a phone?
- Every design lays itself out for a phone as well as a computer. Open your preview on your own phone and you see what a customer sees.
