Websites for roofers
Your customers can’t see their own roof properly, so they can’t judge your work by looking up. Your website shows them what you’ve done from where you were standing.

Free to look. £19 a month to go live, for six months, then £29.
After the storm, and before the summer
A slipped tile and a drip in the bedroom is a call somebody makes the same morning. They need to see that you do repairs, that you come to them, and a number to ring.
A whole new roof is weighed up for longer. That customer reads further down, looks at your jobs, and wants a sense of what you’d do and how you leave the place.
One website does both: a tap on your number rings you straight away, and your services and past jobs are there for the person with time.
The view from the scaffold
You see every roof close up, and the homeowner sees it from the garden. A photo from the ridge of a finished slate roof, or new flashing round a chimney, tells them more than a paragraph.
Take it on your phone before the scaffold comes down. Then put it in your editor as a past job, say which street or village, and we do the writing.
The jobs on your list
The builder starts you on a roofer’s usual work, from repairs and new roofs to flat roofing, guttering and chimneys. Keep what you take on and add your own.
If you’d rather not do flat roofs or chimneys, untick them. Anything you’d rather turn down altogether can be kept off the site completely.
Your jobs, ticked for you
Step three of the builder starts roofers with these. Keep them, untick them, or add your own.
Ticked to start with
- Roof repairs
- New roofs
- Flat roofing
- Guttering & fascias
- Chimney work
- Emergency leak repairs
On the list to add
- Slate & tile replacement
- Roof cleaning

The roofer we made up
To show the shape of one, we made up Kinnear Roofing, in Musselburgh, and built its website with our own builder. Its past jobs:
- Slates replaced on a terrace, Portobello
- Chimney stack repointed, Dalkeith
- Flat roof on a back extension, Prestonpans
- Lead flashing along a gable, Tranent
- Gutters and fascias, Musselburgh
Questions
- Can it say I’m free for emergency leaks?
- If you take emergency leak repairs, keep them ticked and they go on your services. If you don’t, untick them, and your website never offers it.
- I cover a lot of villages. Do they all go on?
- Yes. Tell us the town you’re based in and the other places you normally work, and they’re listed by name. You can change the list later from your editor.
How it works
Three simple stepsTell us about your business
Your trade, your town, the jobs you take on. Rough answers are fine: we do the writing.
We write and build it
A website written from your answers and nothing else, laid out in one of our designs, that reads right on a phone. No logo? We’ll draw you one from your business name.
You look, change, decide
Change anything, in your own words. Nothing goes live until you subscribe.
